Summer Sports for Sam!

First Day! (2023.07.08)

When asked by his sister during lunch, “What did you play, Sam?”, he replied, “Balls!”. 😂

Missed a week due to Cape vacation another because coach was sick. Finally got back out to play! Here’s some to catch us up to 2023.08.05.

Gabby even came to watch!

Hockey this week! (2023.08.12)

Lacrosse for the last week! (2023.08.19)

Happy 4th of July!

The crew all together at the Burlington 4th of July Parade!

Even though it was raining, we still enjoyed our annual tradition with the Shannon Family.

It was a rainy day so we made s’more bites since we couldn’t have a fire.

Happy Independence Day!!

Gabby’s First ‘Learn to Skate’!

First session! (2023.07.02)

She was all smiles when she saw the rink for the first time! I had to lead with this picture. 🙂

On our way into the rink …

She loved the sticker for her helmet.

All laced up and ready to go!

They started by learning how to stand up on their feet, which made sense.

Almost made it the whole way across without a crash!

Caught a good tumble on video. 😛

Second session! (2023.07.09)

We also went for an adventure (no pictures, unfortunately) to find a ‘zambonie’, since Gabby had no idea what that was. The young man who drove it allow us to check it out!

Third session! (2023.07.16)

Her legs are always going … <3

Super excited!

Fourth session! (2023.07.23)

Everyone wanted to hold mommy’s hand!

Sammy was good! He wanted to be on the ice too!

Fifth session! (2023.07.30)

Sammy came again!

She’s getting even better! She’s learning to use her inner edge, and even plow a little snow!

Sixth Session! (2023.08.06)

Another great week on the ice! (2023.08.13)

The last skate! She has come a longggg way. Great job Gabby! (2023.08.20)

We tried to play the claw game, but it was Out of Order, unfortunately. 🙁

She got a ribbon!

Jessica and Aunt Julia visit!!

Thank you for the awesome rocket toy and Harry Potter book (not pictured), Aunt Julia!

Sam obviously loved it 😂

Sam showing the ladies the ropes at the water table.

Frozen custard at Abbotts! Yum!

For their last night we had a campfire, which means s’mores! Thank you both for visiting, we loved having you!

Happy Father’s Day!!

Gifts for Daddy!

The card Gabby made at school. “You’re a grilly great daddy!”

Father’s Day candy letter

Hugs! 🥰

Driving lessons.

Donna’s Doughnuts never disappoint.

Making the kids a sensory bin table. Happy Father’s Day Shaun! Thanks for all you do for us ❤️

LEGOland Discovery Center – Assembly Square

We were finally able to check out LEGOland in Somerville, MA. There is an awesome, huge giraffe out front!

You start by building your own, little person which can then explore the area with you.

Then there’s a tree worth checking out right when you get upstairs.

With a “bungle bee” inside. HAHA

You can build a rocket ship, scan it, then fly it around on the screen!

Of course, you can just relax, kick back, and try to catch a duckling.

But the best part must be gazing at the cityscape, which includes lots of Boston scenes.

(In my opinion, the TD Garden scene needs more bumper-to-bumper traffic …)

There were also tons of places to build a car and race it down a track!

Unfortunately, the camera did catch some bloopers!

And some clown trying to lift various things …
