Heading West!

First rendezvous was with the Setlock side!

Then a nice day hanging with the Savaglia side!

Sammy got a chance to pop out and enjoy the playground. 🙂

Then the Bills Game!

The nerdiest way to share photos, videos, and stories of our adventures….

Then the Bills Game!

First goal!
Missed the second goal. Ha
Third goal!
Thanks to Gabby’s classmates mom, Rachel, for recording!
Open skate times are finally available at the Burlington Ice Palace!
Gabby’s classmate, Caroline, invited us to join her family out on the ice. 🙂 What a great idea!
Everyone was so excited; Sammy talked about skating all morning.

Gabby was having a blast hanging with her friend!

… but we were able to interrupt periodically!

This was Sammy’s first time on the ice! He loved it!
Little shaky to start, but he had lots and lots of help. 🙂

He kept getting up after every tumble, saying, “Again. Again.” He wanted to go fast too!
And he quickly started to find his feet!
Gabby’s aged-up to U6 now!

Warming up!

Gabby’s classmate, Ellie, is on her team! They quickly paired up for the passing drill.
She really enjoyed the scrimmage at the end!

Gabby loved learning to skate so we’ve got her back out for the next session!

Special thanks to Jeff Trudeau for inspiring this trip; such a beautiful part of the Northeast.
Only a 75 minute car ride from our driveway to the beach parking lot at Ogunquit’s main beach. The kids bolted straight to the water! It was low tide when we arrived, so it was like 70-80 yards to reach the surf haha What an amazing beach!

Once the high tide chased us all the way in, we headed to check-in to the hotel. Sam always loves the hotel haha gets cozy right away.

Then out for dinner at Seacoast Pizza and Pasta, then dessert at Big Daddy’s Ice Cream!

Day 2 was a short jaunt up to Portland to visit their Children’s Museum! Both kids had a blast!

Gabby was following people around taking videos on her camera again …
Gabby and I planned a Daddy – Daughter Day down to Seaport to visit the Bostons Children’s Museum and then have a lunch date. 🙂
We decided to try something special … Gabby brought her camera (thank you Uncle Eric!) and we both took pictures. This way we could do a blog post together, from both perspectives!
OK, so a couple to get the setting! Starting off with parking in the Seaport area and walking to the Harborwalk and museum.

Then we checked in and got the camera out 🙂

Gabby’s first one … 😂

But she quickly got warmed up!

Gabby grabbed a couple from our Tic Tac Toe game.

Then we headed to the Arthur exhibit. Gabbys first!

And Daddy’s lol

Then the craft area! Daddy’s first.

And Gabbers!

And the STEM area to build statues for shadows. Gabby up first!

And Daddy’s 🙂

Then the construction area. Daddy’s first!

Gabby took a bunch in here 😆

And then “Dino’s in Space” lol the lasts Gabby got before she ran out of space on her camera haha

Then Daddy’s!

And then a bunch more to wrap up our time in the museum!

And our yummy lunch downtown!

Had to take advantage of the nice weather. Beach!!!

Seaweed foot! Sammy played in the surf all day.

Gabby was all about the sand and the shells.

Mom and Dad selfie 😃

On our way to pick up pizza after a long day at the beach. Sammy fell asleep shortly after leaving the parking lot. Success!
