The nerdiest way to share photos, videos, and stories of our adventures….
About 10.5” in Burlington, MA. First real storm in about two years.

The kids were super excited!
By the way .. No, we did not get a puppy, despite what Sammy seems to be suggesting at the end. HAHA

Stockings!

Unwrapping together!

Then …. there was a special pair of gifts for the end.
Gabby got a brand new iPad Mini! (Sammy’s tablet is the one they’ve always shared, but in a new case and with everything setup for just him.)
Building Daddy’s gift … a Land Rover Defender LEGO! <3

While waiting for the Christmas Day tradition of monkey bread to finish in the oven!

Off for a walk since the weather was so nice!

And back for some mini hockey! Sammy loved it.

And Gabby played with ~2-3 gifts, simultaneously, for the remainder of the day!

Finally, a lovely traditional-ish Christmas Day dinner prepared by Mommy. (Ham, Buffalo-style Cauliflower, Yams, Corn, Mac and Cheese, Kings Hawaiian Rolls)

First up … look at this handsome ho(w)liday hound!

Gingerbread houses!

Timelapse was going well … until it took a dive off the top turn-buckle. Some Kings Hawaiian rolls knocked it off. 😂
Family tradition! Mommy’s lasagna on Christmas Eve. 🙂

Cookies and milk were out for Santa. <3

When everyone wants donuts AND cake, then Daniela makes a “Donut Cake”!

Time-lapse!

Kids from Gabby’s school had their own version of the Macy’s Parade!

Sammy come too!

Certainly the highlight of the holiday; Mommy (and Gabby) made a ‘pumpkin’ brownies and some ‘turkey’ cookies!

Everyone piled up and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. 🙂

Even Sammy joined in to dance along with the performances!
Then a fun craft (per Gabby’s request) that was totally Mommy’s stroke of creative genius. Turkeys!

Finally, supper time! The main(s) were steak! (Tenderloin and Cauliflower)

Our friend Kedar graciously wrote up his Curry Chicken recipe (thank you KP!) so that we could try it on our own. Let’s just say, it was obviously our first attempt at this kind of cooking, but not bad!

This is where we started to remember to take pictures … HA

The whistle! And it smelled sooo good. (VIDEO)

It was so much fun and really look forward to trying it again! Thanks so much to Kedar, especially for your patience!
Carving Timelapse!

She wanted to be spooky! Ha

Getting the costumes on! (Hedwig, from Harry Potter, and a Dinosaur) Thank you Mommy for our awesome costumes!

Off to join the Shannon’s for Session #1 of Trick or Treat!
Spooky Beverages! (Cuba Libre’s, as a new tradition??)

Costumes back on!
